About C.J. Savage, Certified Hypnotherapist
After graduating from MacMurray College, Jacksonville, IL., C.J. Savage was employed as a Mental Health Specialist for the State of Illinois for the Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities (DMHDD) at the Jacksonville Developmental Center in 1985. She continued her education at Sangamon State University working towards her master's in clinical psychology when she decided to enroll in classes for hypnotherapy.
A graduate of the Hypnodyne Foundation of Clearwater, Florida, she was certified in hypnotherapy October 1991 by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) after studying under Steven LaVelle, a professor and author on human development and well know hypnotist/hypnotherapist. She remains a member of IACT today.
C.J. studied and graduated from advanced hypnotherapy in New York in February 1992, while taking some time off from work at DMHDD. She opened her own hypnosis clinic in Winchester, IL on a part -time basis while working as a Mental Health Specialist. After resigning from the State of Illinois in 1993, as a Mental Health Specialist, she has had Hypnosis clinics in Springfield, Bloomington, Jacksonville and Winchester and traveled to nearly every major city in the state of Illinois hypnotizing groups of people for employers, hospitals, colleges, organizations and private functions to stop smoking, lose weight and various other uses in hypnotherapy. She now travels anywhere in the U.S., offering her expertise to companies, corporations, hospitals and others to help their employees to lose weight and stop smoking permanently with exceptional success.
While C.J. Savage has hypnotized people for over 17 years with exceptional success, people become happier and healthier, transforming their mental, emotional and physical health for the better, living life more abundantly.
The Roman Catholic Church issued statements approving the use of hypnosis, in the early 50's, announced by the late Pope Pius. C.J. Savage has been one of the few in the world to have been personally blessed by the late Pope John Paul II in January, 1981 in St. Peters Square in front of St. Peters Basilica while on a MacMurray College 33 day tour of Europe with Dr. and Mrs. Wolfe Fuhrig.
Cheryl J Savage, born in 1955 is from Winchester, IL. She is divorced and living in Jacksonville, IL. She has 2 daughters, both married and five grandchildren. C.J. has also been in real estate for over 30 years, as an agent and investor.
